ZEUS & POSEIDON is a work based in my Macos X for Windows 7 Themes.

17 / 4 / 2010 update and reuploaded

One New theme Added which having 24 pixel height taskbar.
this is usefull because you can set it before shutdown or log off, then you can put to your C:/Users/yourusernamehere/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes your favour theme there so every time you log in your favour theme with the 22 pixel [smaller, mac style taskbar will be loaded] see Tips 4 text in this page.
so you can have small size taskbar, everytime you log in, doing only 1 clik before shutdown or log off.

If all this seems difficult to new users , just do that :
you can select before shutdown the Dion 24 theme so everytime you log in you can select one of the other themes that have the smaller mac style 22 pixel taskbar.
so the taskbar will remain small and not be bigger from windows system as it happens now.

So here i had UPDATED the Macos X for Windows 7 visual styles /themes having :

NEW Search button 24 3 2010 [updated] . [link]

new clock window [link] ,

new background of the list that appears when a new toolbar is presented in taskbar [link] and also some other minor changes,

Plus 3 New Visual styles /Themes with designed buttons in the area of addressbar for some users asks to me to make some versions like those i first made in vista in my ZEUS os X F OS for vista [ [link] ] (not any fuctionality of those buttons, just design)

So i made : Dion XW (transparent version), Alexandros XW (brushed version) and Leopard XW (gray version).

plus a new wallpaper which i have made in the style of this iPad's sea wave background [link]

ALSO the NEW ones : Dion IIII (transparent version), Alexandros IIII (brushed version) and Leopard IIII (gray version).

These visual styles in this pack i have made for working with my system files i have made and exist in my Macos X for Windows 7.

ZEUS & POSEIDON story.

IN ancient and in nowdays Hellenic (=Greek) [Active CODE] language, every letter, and every word is a specific number, and it has a specific meaning.
POSEIDON is was the god of the sea, earthquakes and horses. Although he was officially one of the supreme gods of Mount Olympus, he spent most of his time in his watery domain.
Poseidon was brother to Zeus and Hades. These three gods divided up creation. Zeus was ruler of the sky, Hades had dominion of the Underworld and Poseidon was given all water, both fresh and salt.
ZEUS ( or DEUS or DIAS) is Master of immortal Gods in Hellenic (=Greek) Active CODE [arithmetic machine logic] language, and APPLE is the given gift from ZEUS .

So the name of the THEME choosen from Hellenic = GREEK language and civilization.

ZEUS & POSEIDON THEME/VISUAL STYLES

These visual styles have made to be worked with my system files i have made and exist in my Macos X for Windows 7.

So for having Mac OS X style system behaviour , When forinstance we select a folder as 'icon', we have separate mouse over image for the folder and other image for the text , and when we select a folder as 'details' we can have stripes, and mouse over images like mac os X , blue hover and white text,
you must also download my Macos X for Windows 7.

The navigation buttons exist to explorerframe.dll, the apple start orb to explorer.exe and the icons to imageres.dll and to shell32.dll, AND does not included to this pack, so you have to downloaded from my Macos X for Windows 7 Themes.

so if you have a Windows 7 32 bit system download my:

and follow the instructions of them ,
BUT use the wallpapers and Themes and visual styles from This pack.

I N S T R U C T I O N S

so here FIRST: UNZIP the file.

1. To use the visual styles ( mstyle) , you must install a small application, download from [link] .
Credits goes to Rafael Rivera for this amazing work. Then restart your system.

2. Copy the folder 'OS X Cursors' , to C:\Windows\Cursors .

Copy the 'Mac os X Wallpapers' of this pack to C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper.

Copy the 'Mac os X sounds' of this pack to C:\Windows\Media .

3. Copy all the folders included in the folder 'Macos X Themes by ZEUSosx' [after unzip all files, and copy them to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes ,provided C is your Windows drive).

[if you have already using my 'Macos X for Windows 7', use the visual styles and wallpapers of this = 'ZEUS and POSEIDON' pack please]

Copy all the folders included in the folder 'New Themes by ZEUSosx' [after unzip all files, and copy them to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes, provided C is your Windows drive). These new visual styles/themes have biger titlebar and more symetrical vertical distances in titlebar. [link]

Open there ["C:\Windows\Resources\Themes"] and choose the theme name you like, select it, double clik tand thats it.

4. Go to Desktop Personalize & apply the theme you preffer.

MAIN LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF USING

1. do not change border padings.

2. do not change font size (leave it 96 dpi font size).

3. taskbar must be resized every time we log in, if we want 'small icons' in it, as Windows 7 internal code streched it to bigger dimentions.

4. for close distance between close,min,max buttons Ave's application [still beta] , CloseButtonChanger needed.

5. for adding shadows effect around your Windows, needed the freeware controlable application YzShadow.

Tips
-------

-1. For having to the left side the min, max, close buttons, use please leftsider. [link]

-2. For having close the min,max,close buttons an Ave's application needed CloseButtonChanger needed, (login to
[link] ) , transparent and brushed styles will use number : 1.237 , leopard styles will use number : 1.45 .

-3. ADDING SHadows effect around your Window.
For having shadows and have better of the theme looking, please use YzShadow [link]
For the Gray (leopard) styles when using Yz shadow its better to follow the values i give you. [link] , for the rest themes [link] [link] [link] also with YzShadow you can have transparent menus ,to any of my themes following my values : [link]

-4. The windows 7 system behaviour to 22 pixel (small icon) taskbar is unbelieveable not applicable!
That means that everytime you log in to your system, taskbar becomes bigger[than 22pixels], and you have manually do this:
right clik to taskbar, select Properties, Uncheck Use small icons, Resize your taskbar as possible small, then check Use small icons and that s it.
To my system[32 bit win 7 rtm] I do this, i set first small icons taskbar size on top of desktop, after i set before shut down, or log off etc the taskbar to the bottom , when i log in i set the taskbar to the top and works ok.

if u forgot, do this set the taskbar to bottom, logoff, then log in set it to top. its quiq . thats it.

[if you select instead of shutdown, 'sleep' or 'hybernate', the taskbar remains as is, no need to set it down]

NEW SOLUTION FOR TASKBAR [ YOU NEED ONLY ONE CLIK]

NEW METHOD FOR TASKBAR: [what you have to do is only 1 clik before shut down, or restart or log off your computer]

How it works

BEFORE shut down, or restart or log off SET aero theme.
[i will EXPLAIN after where you can set the aero style theme for ease access of it. instead of my solution you can set it everywhere you preffer or you right clik to desk top , personalize select aero. to my method i setted to a toolbar of your taskbar for fast access by you]

copy to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup your favour custom theme.

thats it.


so:
------------------------------------------------------

A ---. enabling quiq launch toolbar to the taskbar.
[u can set aero style theme in any toolbar of your taskbar, for example you can use 'links' toolbar]

1. Right clik to your windows taskbar. Deselect Lock the taskbar.

2. Again Right clik to your windows taskbar.

a.Then Right-click the taskbar -> Toolbars -> New toolbar

b. type the following into the "folder" field - "C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch", where username is your user name on your user account.

c. click 'Select folder'.

d. now you can rearrange the Quick Launch into it's classic position.

3. a. right-click the Quick Launch and uncheck "Show Text". right-click again to uncheck "Show

Title".

b. size the title-less and label-less Quick Launch area to your liking.

B---. RIGHT clik to your desktop, personalize, select Dion 24 theme, then change the desktop background selecting forexample a mac style background wallpaper one as the 'DefaultDesktop'.

save changes.
then also select 'sounds', select mac osx, apply , ok, save the changes. then, Save Theme with a

name you preffer.
THEN:

GO to C:/Users/Your User Name Here/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes

Drag the theme you just made it, to your quiq launch toolbar, in taskbar.
If you like you can right clik to the shortcut of the theme that has appeared after the drag to your quiq launch toolbar, in taskbar, select properties, change icon, so select an icon you preffer.
[if you have download my [link] you can also have to choose to some from icons exist to C:\Taskbar shortcuts\icons , otherwise you use any other from your system files or a custom one or leave it as is]

C---. Go to C:/Users/Your User Name Here/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes or to

C:\Windows\Resources\Themes find your favourite mac style theme , copy it and paste it to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

D---. Before shut down, or restart or log off, go to your taskbar and select your Dion 24 style theme you have put there.

when log in , the mac style should be automatically will aplied it to your desktop.

thats it. [with only 1 clik before shut down, or restart or log off]

-5. I have visual styles with no looking Folderband [is the toolbar that it has Buttons Commands like 'Organise', 'System Properties' etc] and other with always appearing Folderband. For open the folderband to the styles that is not appeared, please have a look to my Auto-hide Folderband of win 7, [link] where is written SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS EXPLORER , MY COMPUTER WINDOW STYLE. / SOLUTION FOR WINDOWS EXPLORER , WHEN YOU HAVE DETAILS PANE AT THE TOP. etc

Alternatively there is RocketDock great dock application Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and Y'z Dock skins, download it from [link] .

For having EXPOSE style effect !!! :
for aero style only : Download Switcher from [ [link] ]
for basic style only : Download WinExposé from [ [link] ] ,
these kind EXPOSE style programs are giving the sense of osx using style, you can see all windows you have added to your desktop at once and with a clik to choose any window of them as the active one !

Making the looking of the right side of windows 7 taskbar as possible as mac os x right side of taskbar, without changing any system files.

MAKING SOME APPLICATION WHICH DOES NOT START WITH THE START OF WINDOWS, ENABLE TO START.

[ATTENTION, DO THIS ONLY IF YOU TRUST THOSE APPLICATION]

FOR leftsider, or Yz Shadow for example

For starting with windows start up , go to control panel/clasic view/folder options then go to view and select show hidden files and folders. then go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and add a shortcut of the leftsider or Yz Shadow
then go again go to control panel/clasic view/folder options then go to view and deselect show hidden files and folders.

(do the same for any other application, but only if you trust it, and does not automatically work with the start up of windows) [if you want also to uninstall an application , like leftsider and reinstall a new version of it, you have first go to "C:\Users\[enter your username here]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\" and delete the folder called "leftsider" = delete the folder with the name of the application , in this case current "leftsider".]
