As my trial version of Windows 8 rtm expires, i quiqly give a latest experiment touch of a transparent visual style with circle window corners in osx style under my view, a work for windows 8 rtm using mainly, hex editing + resourse hacker.

This specific visual styles themes have been made to use with the utility that gives transparency ,

have a look to both and decide yourself. those are both for 32 or 64 bit systems.

Download Ribbon Disabler Utility for Windows 8 rtm [link] so to look your explorer window such in screenshot (otherwise you can install if you wish a modified system file from my [link] )

Depends if you have 32 bit or 64 bit version of windows 8 rtm follow :

32 BIT Windows 8 RTM 32bit

If you have a 32bit Windows 8 rtm system you must download first my 'Aqua World os x style Theme for Windows 8 rtm'

and following the instructions you must copy/paste the system file shell32.dll first from it.

then you have to download my 'imac theme for Windows 8 RTM 32bit'

and following the instructions you must copy/paste the system files from it.

Tips

For dissapearing the status bar at the bottom of explorer's window go to Control PanelAll Control Panel Items select 'FOLDER OPTIONS', select 'view' then deselect the 'Show Status bar'

Setting small title font on titlebar :
go to Control PanelAppearance and PersonalizationDisplay and set to the section 'Change only the text size' to '9' and select/check the 'bold' option.
